Liberty Elementary PTA is requesting donations to transform the teacher lounge into a peaceful and uplifting place for teachers and staff. The teacher lounge makeover is broken into 5 stages to allow us to complete the makeover as donation levels are reached for each stage. Liberty Elementary PTA is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization and all donations are tax deductible.

COMPLETED! Stage 1 - Paint walls and cabinets
We want to paint the walls and cabinets to create a neutral slate and counterbalance the multi-color floor as much as possible.

COMPLETED!  Stage 2 - Install water line and purchase refrigerator with auto ice maker
Our teachers currently do not have access to ice throughout the day and the district will not allow the PTA to install a dedicated ice maker. The allowable solution is to purchase a refrigerator with ice maker.

Stage 3 - Decorate to create a peaceful vibe
Estimated cost - $600-800
We would like to add curtains, wall art, and throw pillows 

COMPLETED! Stage 4 - Create a sitting area
We have several Liberty parents who had graciously donated a sofa and two chairs to create a comfy sitting area. We would like to add a rug and coffee/end tables to finish the area.

Stage 5 - New tables and chairs
Estimated cost - $3000
We would like to replace the old natural wood tables (repurposed library tables) and school chairs with more modern and light weight tables and comfortable stacking chairs.

The current teacher lounge with its 20-year old flooring, cabinets, and random assortment of furniture and decor.
